Selling your home is a multi-step process and I’ll be by your side to help guide you. Here’s a general overview to help you prepare:

Get Your Finances in Order

If you’re still paying off your mortgage, don’t worry. There are several options depending on your mortgage type. Talk to your lender before proceeding.

Initial Consultation

Strong relationships mean everything to me. Selling your home is an intimate process and I want to understand what is most important to you. As I tour your property, I’ll discuss the listing process from start to finish. Be assured that I’ll work tirelessly to take care of your biggest asset.

Presenting Your Home

After our meeting, I’ll provide you with an estimate of the current market value of your home. First impressions are key, and I’ll help strategize how to best present your home as we prepare your property for sale. Sharply pricing your home is critical to gaining the most exposure, finding the right buyer, and selling at the highest price.

Marketing And Promotion

Keeping your priorities top of mind, I will develop and implement a customized marketing strategy. This may include professional photography and floor plan, aerial videography, home staging, sign posting, open houses, marketing materials, personalized website, and a social media campaign.

Negotiation

Always representing your best interests, I will communicate the true value of your home while negotiating the best price and conditions possible. Not all offers are equal. If we are fortunate enough to receive multiple offers the highest price may not always be the best choice. I’ll work with you to make sure we find the offer that is most likely to close and ensuring a smooth and successful sale.

Closing

Once we have an accepted an offer, the buyer will likely conduct a home inspection and may negotiate repair costs. Your lawyer and I will guide you through the paperwork and legal steps needed to close the sale.

When you consider it, there are several other homes for sale competing with your property.  I will help you price your home competitively to attract qualified buyers.  The way I do this is by generating a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) report, which will show you a range of prices being paid for homes in your region.  You can complete my online form to get a feel for your home's market value.
